The plea for help, to stand up and help deliver, which we sent out a couple of months back, drew some admirable responses. Given the fact that the idea to join as a fellow in Teach4India was met with cynical skepticism from most, the tremendous response we have received since then, stands testimony to the adage that ‘Good begets goodness’.
The incessant work at hand notwithstanding, we think it is our moral duty to let friends and well-wishers know, what their support means to us. We think our responsibility lies in not just acknowledging the literary and monetary gifts received, but in letting them know how they have enlightened the lives of the underprivileged.
We start this weblog with a hope that it shall also serve as a cornerstone to spread word about the day-to-day life of a T4I fellow. Who knows, our next fellow might just be waiting around the corner seeking some inspiration to start out. We also appreciate every bit of literary and monetary help that reaches us. Do remember to spread the word out.
A white lotus is the epitome of primordial purity – of body, speech and mind; floating above the muddy waters of attachment and desire; representing the full blossoming of wholesome deeds in blissful liberation. As we search for ours, in this utopian quest to see each and every child having an excellent education, we put forth before you, the little muses we have once in a while, the dreams we envision, the joys we wish to share and the gratitude we will never forget.
Thank you all, Thank you for everything.
